Scope and Application

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all users of Tranzakt’s public website (tranzakt.finance) and secure dashboard, including visitors, registered account holders, merchants, and any third parties accessing the services. By accessing Tranzakt’s site or dashboard, you agree to abide by this Policy and all applicable laws and regulations. Violations may result in enforcement actions including warnings, suspension or termination of access, and legal remedies.

Permitted Use

Users may access and use Tranzakt’s website and dashboard only for lawful, intended purposes. Permitted activities include viewing product and service information, managing your account or payment transactions as authorized, and using any features (such as support or messaging tools) in a professional and legal manner. You must use the site and dashboard in accordance with Tranzakt’s Terms of Service, this Policy, and any instructions or guidelines provided by Tranzakt or its regulatory authorities.

Prohibited Activities

Tranzakt strictly prohibits any misuse of its website, dashboard, or services. The following activities are expressly forbidden:

  • Unlawful Transactions: Using the platform to engage in illegal or fraudulent transactions. This includes laundering money, financing terrorism, participating in Ponzi or pyramid schemes, or any other activity that violates Nigerian law or international sanctions. For example, the Nigeria Cybercrimes Act expressly criminalizes manipulating payment systems to defraud others . Transactions involving illicit goods or services (such as narcotics, counterfeit or stolen items, weapons, human trafficking, unauthorized gambling, or prohibited content) are strictly prohibited.
  • Security Violations: Attempting unauthorized access to any computer system, account, or data. Users must not probe, scan, or breach Tranzakt’s networks or any connected systems, nor use stolen or shared login credentials. Nigeria’s Cybercrimes Act makes hacking or unauthorized access an offense punishable by imprisonment (up to five years) . Users must not distribute malware, viruses, trojans, or any code that disrupts or damages Tranzakt’s infrastructure. Launching denial-of-service attacks or any interference with service availability is prohibited (Section 8 of the Cybercrimes Act; up to two years’ imprisonment).
  • Payment and Financial Misuse: Abusing Tranzakt’s payment systems in any way. This includes using stolen or fraudulent payment methods, conducting unauthorized transactions, or charging back transactions without justification. Users must not evade transaction limits, double-charge customers, or misuse promotional funds. Any attempt to bypass Tranzakt’s fraud detection or AML/CFT controls (for example, via mule accounts or false identities) is prohibited. Tranzakt monitors for suspicious activity and will report serious financial fraud to law enforcement; for instance, engaging in phishing or other fraud schemes is punishable under the Cybercrimes Act
  • Content Submission and Communications: When posting or transmitting content (such as comments, reviews, messages, or uploads) via the website or dashboard, users must ensure it is lawful and appropriate. Prohibited content includes anything illegal, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, hateful, harassing, fraudulent, or infringing on others’ rights. Do not post unsolicited advertising, spam, or chain letters. Users must not use false identities or contact information; for example, “[you shall] not use a false e‑mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself, or otherwise mislead us or third parties as to the origin of any Submissions” . Tranzakt may monitor, remove, or refuse any user-generated content that violates this Policy
  • Intellectual Property Abuse: Users must respect intellectual property rights. You may not copy, distribute, upload, or otherwise use copyrighted or trademarked material without permission. For example, do not upload software, images, music, or text that you do not have rights to.
  • Privacy and Data Misuse: Users must handle all personal and financial data in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. This means not harvesting, scraping, or disclosing personal data (yours or others’) without consent. The Data Protection Act safeguards individuals’ personal information and imposes strict rules on processing it . Do not use automated means to collect users’ emails or other private data. Sending unsolicited marketing or “phishing” messages is prohibited and can be a criminal offense.
  • Automation and Bots: Automated access or scraping of Tranzakt’s services is not allowed unless explicitly authorized. You may not use robots, crawlers, spiders, scripts, or other automated tools to browse or use the site or dashboard, except for approved APIs or search tools provided by Tranzakt. Similarly, bulk or scripted actions (like sending mass messages or inputs) that could overload the system or mimic human activity are forbidden.
  • Abuse of Infrastructure: Any action that degrades the performance of Tranzakt’s systems or impairs other users’ experience is prohibited. This includes spamming other users, interfering with transactions, or attempting to circumvent security controls. Harassing or threatening Tranzakt employees or other users in connection with use of the site is also forbidden.
  • Compliance with Laws: Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including Nigerian statutes. In particular, the Nigeria Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act and related amendments make various abuses of information systems and transactions criminal offenses . For instance, Section 32 of the Cybercrimes Act prohibits phishing for sensitive data . By using Tranzakt’s services, you agree to abide by these laws and cooperate with any lawful investigations.

Enforcement and Consequences

Tranzakt reserves the right to enforce this Policy at its discretion. Detected violations may lead to:

  • Investigation: Tranzakt may monitor, log, and investigate suspicious activities. We may audit account usage and network logs. Violations may be reported internally or to regulators.
  • Account Actions: Depending on severity, Tranzakt may issue warnings or temporarily restrict certain activities. Serious or repeated violations can result in immediate account suspension or termination . We may also block IP addresses or restrict network access to prevent further abuse.
  • Content Removal: Any content (comments, uploads, messages) that breaches this Policy may be removed or disabled without notice. Tranzakt disclaims liability for user content and will not permit infringing or harmful material.
  • Legal Remedies: In addition to any internal action, Tranzakt will cooperate with law enforcement and regulators. Violations of law may result in civil or criminal proceedings . For example, authorities may prosecute offenders under the Cybercrimes Act, which authorizes imprisonment and fines for hacking, fraud, data theft, and related crimes .

Tranzakt will generally notify you of enforcement actions in accordance with its Terms of Service, but reserves the right to act immediately if required (for example, to protect security or comply with law). Any harm or losses caused by your violation of this Policy may be your responsibility.

Amendments and Updates

Tranzakt may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Changes will be effective upon posting on the website or dashboard. Continued use of Tranzakt’s services after any update implies acceptance of the revised Policy . Users are encouraged to review this Policy periodically. By using Tranzakt’s website or services in any capacity, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy and all associated rules and consequences.
